I have been involved in the performing arts as Performer, Music Teacher, Composer, Performing Arts Event Promoter and Musicology for more than 50 years. Performing in church, concerts, The National Arts Festival from age 9 in Jamaica resulted in awards of Music Scholarships from the Government of Jamaica and The Jamaica School of Music to study voice with celebrated Soprano, Joyce Britton, Vibart Seaforth of The National Dance Theatre Company Singers and Russian trained soprano Pauline Watson. I enjoyed performances with the UWI Singers and Jamaica Music Society etc.. I then migrated to The Bahamas where I taught music; started my own music school, “Ebeneezer School of Music”; started my own Promotions Company “Helping Hands Productions” devoted to donate to charity in Jamaica and Bahamas;
devoted myself to preserving and presenting Jamaican Performing Arts culture by founding The Hummingbird Performers and presenting guest lectures on Jamaican culture in The Bahamas to tertiary Institutions. Finally I have composed Musicals and several songs a few of which are attached here. I’m currently focused on my Promotions Company which is struggling to survive due to Covid 19 restrictions.
