Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Shanelle has always had a passion for art, nature and
culture. She is 20 years old, currently attending the Edna Manley College of the Visual and
Performing Arts. Shanelle is studying for a bachelor's degree in fine arts, painting. During her
artistic journey, she has received multiple awards for her crafts, including the Marcia Dunn
award for Art and design at her alma mater Wolmer's Trust High School for Girls, and is a
muralist in Kingston Creative and Art Evolution, where she has painted multiple murals that
support Jamaican culture and other unique qualities across the island.

Shanelle enjoys using a variety of painting and drawing mediums in her work that portrays the
natural essence of people and nature. She strives to connect to people with her art and to bring
joy and inspire others to look at life in a positive way. She promotes love for oneself, one's
culture, positive mindsets and environments.
