I was born in Barbados. I am a graduate of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill where I obtained
an honors degree in Management Studies. I also obtained a certificate in Gender Studies from that
institution. I worked for some years in the banking industry. My last position was in an educational
institution in administration.
