Kirk Cockburn has been a professional artist for over eleven years. Born in St Mary raise in Mt Prospect a
small community in West rural St Andrew, where his love for the arts began. All through his years of
school he stood out as one of the most outstanding art students, because of his amazing artwork while
attending HEART trust NTA LEAP centre he got commissions to create art pieces many of which were
presented to guess speakers members of Parliament, CEOs, and Director from Heart trust NTA
Institutions, he has also been involved in several mural projects with studio 174 most recently Windrush
murals that are now exhibited at the Norman Manly International airport, a member of the Rubis
inpulse art program. Over the years he has been awarded first place in several local art competitions
RISE life management, Rotaract club and others though been skilled many areas his love for the arts
compelled him to start a décor art company in July 2020 Starsjart.
There is a special love for the growth and development of young people in kirk’s heart which had led
him to serve in his church and community has youth and men President with the gold to inspire and
influence positive change and is currently a member of the OCC group (Operation Christmas Child)
where he serves in the logistic department for the upper St Andrew region.
