My name is Jonathan Gill. The entire idea
behind my work is to let it speak for itself.
When I started doing art it was just for fun and
I never knew that I could earn an income from
it until many years later. This is why I intend
to keep that fun/playful element within my
work because I’m not only doing it as a means
of survival, I’m also doing it because I love it
and as soon as it starts feeling like “work” is
when I believe I would have lost myself along
the way. The work that I produce is simply an
extension of my character. The fun yet moody,
professional but slightly quirky and most
importantly the pensive components behind
them. I try my best to bring to light the client’s
vision whilst maintaining my own and finding
that balance is what keeps me going.
