Jermaine “Lyric Kalel” Smith is a Jamaican Artiste, Songwriter and Sound
Engineer. Born June 27, 1993 in Kingston, Jamaica, Lyric Kalel grew recognition
through multiple performances with his band at the time called PseudoKhule.
After being invited to perform at Kingston Creative’s Artwalk and on the all
island Skeleton Fresh Tour with his band, Lyric Kalel has since been pushing his
solo career, delivering crowd shattering performances at events such as Live on
the Waterfront and Kalimba Nights.
After the pandemic struck and live shows were no more, he made a conscious
effort to keep working every day on his music and by living by the list, Lyric
Kalel’s focus was heightened to razor sharp levels; calculating his moves and
moving with intent. His latest releases of 2021 include “Check Your Attitude”,
“Powerpuff” and “All About” which are available on all platforms.
