My name is Jean François Fils Rigaud, known artistically as Plur, I'm a self-taught photographer born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in May 1996. From an early age, i exhibited a natural inclination towards the arts, expressing my creativity through drawing and painting. However, my fascination with scenes and lighting in movies and commercials eventually led me to photography.
In 2013, i began my journey into photography, picking up a camera to explore the world through a new lens. With a background in graphic design, i seamlessly merged my skills in drawing and composition with photography. This unique blend allowed me to bring my imagination to life, offering an alternative artistic perspective to everything i saw, touched, and felt.
I possesses an innate ability to create and envision narratives from my imagination. Conceptualizing and building artistic compositions has always come naturally to me. During this time, i fell in love with the power of conceptual and storytelling photography.
With each photograph, i aims to tell a captivating story, inviting viewers into his imaginative world. My work combines visual aesthetics with profound narratives, allowing viewers to engage deeply with the images and unravel their hidden meanings. My photographs evoke emotions, spark curiosity, and challenge conventional perspectives.
I've been recognized and winning international awards for my vision and creative work. I've been also featured in exhibitions, magazine and galleries, capturing the attention and admiration of art enthusiasts. My conceptual and storytelling approach to photography has garnered praise for its thought-provoking nature and ability to transcend boundaries.
As a multifaceted artist, my passion for photography continues to grow. Drawing inspiration from diverse sources, i constantly pushes the boundaries of my own creativity, seeking new ways to convey stories and evoke emotions through my imagery.
