Artist Bio

Janine Jkuhl (pronounced Jay-Cool), born Janine Coombs in Kingston
Jamaica, is an Independent- Alternative-Fusion Singer-Songwriter and
Recording Artiste who admires the art of music. Her eclectic love of different
music genres can be heard fused in her albums “Star Gaze” and “Sweet
Sway”. Jkuhl pursued a performing arts degree from the Edna Manley
College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Jamaica, where she studied Jazz,
Classical and Jamaican Popular Music and graduated with Honours. She has
been featured on the global news network CNN “The Voices of The
Pandemic” reaching over 60 million people world wide, as well as featured on
other international and local Jamaican television and radio programs. She has performed on the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Virtual
Festival 2021 and the Global Inaugural Caribbean Party for the first Female
American Vice President Kamala Harris 2021 to name a few venues.
