For over twenty years, Dorcas Closet (..From the house of Iesha) has been
creating clothing and accessories for clients who possess the desire to look
and feel like royalty but who are constrained by tight budgetary limits.
Her offerings range from clothing for everyday, semi-formal, and
formalwear. In addition to clothing, the establishment produces dance
costumes for cultural and liturgical groups. Since the pandemic, Iesha’s
House of Fashion has been producing masks and scraves. Iesha has
decorated venues for weddings, birthdays, christenings, proms and other
events. Her most noteworthy project was decorating the venue for a
PEPFAR event which was sponsored by the US Embassy in Nassau. The
organizers were so impressed that Iesha’s House of Fashion received the
contract to decorate another venue when the Bold Leaders Youth
Ambassadors held a community outreach seminar which was once again
sponsored by the US Embassy in Nassau, Bahamas. The creativity and
originality which are evident in her work, are unparalleled.
From the outset, this line has made its mark and Iesha’s products and
services have been in demand. Although the Covid pandemic has put a
damper on production, Dorcas Closet (…From the house of Iesha) stands
ready to continue producing high quality products whenever the climate is
conducive.
