Search for the truth, search for the truth... gave my life to God and became a Christian // Multi-
year plan in HAVO (high school), got tired and bald // Went to Holland in the year 2000 to study

something that suited me better // Got my diploma in graphic designing in 2004 // Got married
and had 2 kids // Made graphic designing my profession // One of my children passed away and
I got divorced // Lived a total of 18 years in the cold (Holland) // Came back to my island in 2018
// Continued to look for the truth // My concept of God became bigger, so I couldn’t only be a
Christian // I still believe I am a missionary of God // Did art on the side // Now we can eat from
me doing only art.
Recently one of the many tourist guides that frequently visit my gallery said something I
consider to be one of my biggest achievements so far. He said, “Francis, I’m happy when I
come by and I see your gallery open... because every time I bring tourists here, they always
leave happy.” The fact that, I, being so small, from such a small island, with such small abilities
can attract people from the whole world and leave them with a smile in a world with so many
difficulties...is pure gold for me.
