ERIK ALFREDO MARTÍNEZ was born in Santiago de Los Caballeros in 1996. He is a graduate from the first class of the filmmaking program at the Altos de Chavón School of Design, where he collaborated in the post-production of various projects and finished a thesis project in screenwriting. His animated short films have been showcased in online platforms such as VOTD.TV and his fiction short film “Brasil” (2018) has attended international film festivals. He has also attended to workshops at Parsons School Of Design and a creative residency at Fabrica Research Centre. Since 2020 he has collaborated for Simulacro Magazine, Alliance Française Santo Domingo and Aurora Post Studio.
