Daniel Boxill is an often irreverent, award-winning, published poet, author and writer living in Barbados. His passion for writing has led him to be a former journalist, occasional blogger and socio-political commentator with a BA in Literatures in English. He was nominated for Poet of the Year in the 2020 GineOn!? Magazine People's Choice award and his poetry has been featured in several magazines as well as three of the National Cultural Foundation's "Winning Words Anthologies." His first solo collection “Bad Religion (Love Is A…)” was self-published during Barbados’ first lockdown in June 2020 and was nominated Book of the Year in the 2021 iteration of the aforementioned People’s Choice awards. Daniel’s interests extend beyond the written word and as a young multimedia artist, he is also a musician and digital visual artist.
