Christina Katrina Smith is a Barbadian-born creative writer with a passion for telling stories
about women and children.
Her love for writing blossomed when she started journaling at age ten and since then she has
written poetry, short stories and screenplays.
She has worked as a news reporter in Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and St. Vincent
and the Grenadines.
She utilizes her experience as a journalist to craft stories that highlight the social and economic
injustices affecting vulnerable members of society.
She believes storytelling is the key to building a more equitable world.
