Artist Statement
Creativity has taken many shapes in my life. From sketching, digital design, to curating
events and safe spaces for my community. As a designer I discovered why my interest in art turned
to and interest in design; it is a way of communicating with others while helping to grow projects
&businesses. In design work I create with the best of my skills to help my community and clients.
When it comes to events and creating safe spaces this has always been a real and personal
passion of mine. There are very few spaces in our country that allow for everyone to show up and
show out authentically. In planning events it has always been of utmost importance to highlight &
uplift the work of the amazing artists and artisans in Jamaica, while creating a space that is
comfortable, unique, and mentally & visually stimulating.
