Alejandro Cirilo, born in San Juan Puerto Rico had interest on materials and object since early ages. Studied Arts in Central de Artes Visuales where developed plastic skills in drawing and sculpting. Young Cirilo sailed freely between art techniques and disciplines but mantained his income from restoring antique furniture on his hometown from 2004 until present days. From there he began a collection of historical furniture that talked about the caribbean its materials and crafts. In 2014 this collection was called Archivo Corriente (Current Streams Archive) to be developed as an entity that mixed the current arts with historical preservation of caribbean crafts. Today Archivo Corriente serves artistic communities and minorities from its own cultural space managed by Alejandro.
