The Awesome Foundation is an ever-growing worldwide community devoted to forwarding the interest of awesome in the universe. It ws created in the long hot summer days of 2009 in Boston. The foundation provides micro-grants that come out of pockets of the chapter's "trustees" and are given on a no-strings-attached basis to people and groups working on awesome projects.
